Welcome to "The Dan Project". After 22 years as a firefighter I have decided to follow my passion of the banjo and Bluegrass Music. My mission is to play my banjo in as many different countries as possible, meet as many people as I can and spread the love of bluegraass music and the banjo around the world. My trip will begin on December 18, 2013. I fly to London England where I will connect with my two beautiful daughters and extended family to celebrate the holidays.

A Day In London
Upon arriving at Victoria Station, Emma and I found our way to the underground and off to visit Abbey Road. The main line to St. John's Wood (Jubilee Line) was closed and it became a wild experience endeavoring through the underground; but we finally got the hang of it!
Upon finding Baker Street we unexpectedly passed 221B Baker Street "Go Sherlock."
Onward to Abbey Road!
When I was in the fifth grade and moving from Portland to Seattle, my classmates gave me the Abbey Road album as a going away gift. It changed my life!! And Jim Morrison had a lot to do with that as well.
So here I am at the cross walk!! Just had to do it.
Playing my banjo in front of Abbey Road Studios was a highlight!! We met two very special people who showed us a great time. More to come on that note.
Hope you enjoy the pictures! Dan & Emma
